Sensei Entertainment is a DIY organization that creates both Music and Film. With a passion rooted in punk rock of all kinds, Sensei Entertainment continues to create what our artists love to create.
Big B.o.i Records, the label that kickstarted Sensei, is a DIY independent record company based out of Southern Connecticut. Started back in 2010, their first release was Blackout Image's From Humble Beginnings EP. In fact, Big B.O.I is an acronym for "Black Out Image". It has no affiliation with the Rapper, Big Boi. Due to the lack of supplies, we have become a strictly online label, but are willing to help artists release their music how they please. We have had many albums released so far, and we are always looking for more artists!
Created by Matt Balogh, the label started as just a name to write on the back of his band's first release, simply as a joke for the band. As Balogh's friends began to release music of their own, he insisted that they 'release' it through Big B.O.I Records, connecting the music to function all as a whole. Since then, all of his friends and the music Matt creates gets released through the label. The label holds no restrictions on genre, style, and quality of the recordings and is always open to submissions of music.
